Our Social Support Program

A support plan is developed in consultation with each client and their carer.

The weekly activity calendars are packed with fun activities which have been designed to maintain and enhance cognitive skills, physical activity and socialisation.

Activities designed to increase the engagement of male participants at the Waratah Centre are usually planned on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The program is delivered at Waratah Centre Coffs Harbour Monday to Friday, and the Woolgoolga Community Village Hall Wednesday and Friday.

Long Day Care (Waratah Centre)

Long day care is an extension of the day program between 2.00pm-5.00pm.

In an emergency, flexible respite outside of normal hours can also be negotiated.

Waratah may also assist carers with in-home respite if required.
